Our advice – If you would have to use a ladder to get to and remove tree limbs, that tree is too large for you to remove safely.
If you were to get up on a ladder with a chainsaw, this could be extremely dangerous. You could fall off the ladder, lose control or something a lot worse! And the tree branches you are trimming could fall on your home, hit a pedestrian, hit you, or even hit the ladder, knocking you off while holding an operating chainsaw. Falling tree branches or limbs are large and completely unpredictable, and cause horrible destruction.
